ABkC Chairman Nigel Edwards has expressed his support for Manchester & Buxton Kart Club as they work to continue racing at Three Sisters, where the circuit operator went into liquidation last week.
The club – who were not involved in the financial crash – have received the go-ahead to run their next race meeting there later this month which also includes the TKM Platinum Cup.
Said Nigel: “It is great to hear that the club are able to run this month’s race meeting and we sincerely hope they will be able to continue its operations there on a long term basis. Three Sisters is a great circuit with a special format which makes it unique in UK kart racing and we will do anything we can to help the club.”
MBKC secretary Alan Crankshaw added: “We have had a massive amount of support over the last week and we hope karters will turn out in force to enjoy some great racing and provide solidarity to MBKC.”
