Tal-Ko has announced two updates on parts used in the TKM BT82 engine as used in the Formula TKM classes.
The V clutch used for clutch and TAG versions of the engine has a revised clutch drum which has been modified to prevent leakage of chain lubricant into the clutch. The latest drum has no lightening holes but now has lightening recessed radial slots machined instead. Its weight is unchanged and there is no performance difference between the two.
Meanwhile the gaskets used for the carburettor and carburettor flange are now coming from a new supplier with different markings and a superior material. Again there is no performance advantage.
In both cases the new parts may be used on any age engine and will be introduced immediately because current stocks are exhausted. Download the fiche extensions here.
